Blooming in the Whirlwind was an experimental film festival I co-created and curated with the arts non-profit Level Ground. The project aimed to offer thoughtful, challenging, and ultimately hopeful reflections on how we may continue to 'bloom in the whirlwind' during 2020. We paired 9 new poems with 9 filmmakers and then created space for the pair to uniquely collaborate on each project culminating in a digital festival. I developed the project, supported the various artists through the entire process, and conducted/edited the artist Q&A’s. Here is a link to the projects page.
